Start with the job, not the layout. Define who actually arrives, what they already believe, and the single most valuable action you need from them. Rank your primary and secondary jobs before any design work begins. A redesign that starts from a clearly defined job consistently outperforms one that starts from a moodboard or a competitor's homepage.
